Previous to the departure, we are having three half-day classes. At the first such class today, we discussed about the host university, further prepared our trips in details, and started presentations on the group project. We walked outdoor and took a group photo.
This year, with a generous support from the Mitsui Canada Foundation, there is a Mitsui Lecture Series offered as a part of the pre-departure classes. During five week, we had five lectures covered the topics of calligraphy, flower arrangement, business, songs and manga. We even had a chance to listen directly to Mr. Komuro, the President of Mitsui Canada Ltd..
On February 28th, the group met the second time. After receiving various information and related documents, the class then was divided into five Project Groups and started the very first discussion on the topic of each group’s choice. Each group will present their works through a weekly updated blog. During the break, the entire class established Line Group communication!
This year, once again, we have a full group of 20 students to participate the Study Abroad Program in Tokyo. On January 31, the entire group had its first class. We had our very first group photo. There will be 20-hours classes like this previous to the departure on May 7th.
