Folk House Museum

    In the afternoon, we had a tour to visit the Folk House Museum right beside the campus. It was raining in the beginning, but the rain stopped after a while. It was a wonderful experience to see many old houses in various different styles. Thereafter, many were planning to enjoy karaoke

Onsen Trip

    There were no group activities in the past two days. On Wednesday, we went to a popular hot-spring in Odaiba. It was a wonderful trip, and we all experienced some traditional taste in a contemporary setting. Back home, we even had a late ramen together, and then, after the midnight, many started their homework for the tomorrow’s class…

Third Blog Entry

    It was another busy Sunday. Students took various journeys in small groups, and it seems that every one now is rather very comfortable with the complicated Tokyo transportations. At the mean time, no one missed the blog task, and again we have a new set of entry on the selected topics. Enjoy reading!

Kamakura Trip

    A day trip to Kamakura has always been a highlight to the program. Students were divided into 6 groups, and lead by local students in a similar number. The instructor followed the last group, and together we covered the Great Buddha, Hase Temple, Hachiman Shine and the beach of E-no-shima. It was a wonderful day.

Tea Party

    In the afternoon, we had a tea party with students from a class on comparative culture. every one found a new friends, and many received interviews by a reporter of the campus newspaper. Thereafter, we together visited the class, and had a wonderful section with some near 100 students. Many had a chance to demonstrate their learning progress after only a few days of the stay.
